Ear acupuncture #01

NADA protocol

We use the NADA protocol in ear acupuncture.
NADA stands for National Acupuncture Detoxification Association. NADA is used for insomnia, anxiety, cravings, detoxification and withdrawal symptoms from drugs, alcohol tobacco and certain medication such as anti-depressants or valium.

The points used on the ears have a very relaxing effect on the whole body and that makes ear acupuncture one of the easiest ways to take some time out to relax.

Just walk in

For ear acupuncture you can just walk in and be treated.
The NADA protocol consists of the insertion of five, small, fine, sterile stainless steel needles under the surface of the skin on specific sites in the outer ear. The recipients sit quietly for about 30 minutes, relaxing. These five points are standard points for the treatment of substance misuse and anxiety management.
Acupuncture treatment for substance misuse has shown to be clinically effective, cost efficient, drug free and compatible across cultures.

Benefits

The NADA protocol has been shown to decrease significantly:

Craving for alcohol and drugs withdrawal symptoms
Relapse
Inpatient detoxification admissions
Anxiety, insomnia and agitation
Clients are usually surprised to discover that daily acupuncture provides consistent relief of cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

No need to book for ear acupuncture; just drop in.
